The news goes…

The New 7 Wonders of the World were announced during the Official Declaration ceremony in Lisbon, Portugal on Saturday, July 7, 2007 and history was made!

See, it’s old news… but that’s the Wonders of the World, the voting is for the Wonders of Nature.

Wonders of the World and Wonders of Nature

If you don’t know the list of the wonders of the (Medieval) world:

• Stonehenge
• Colosseum
• Taj Mahal
• Great Wall of China
• Porcelain Tower of Nanjing
• Hagia Sophia
• Leaning Tower of Pisa

But the NEW 7 wonders’ of the world, the one announced in 07.07.07 is this:

• Chichen Itza of Mexico
• Christ Redeemer, Brazil
• Colosseum, Italy
• Taj Mahal, India
• Great Wall, China
• Petra, Jordan
• Maccu Picchu, Peru

That’s in no particular Order.

The Wonders of Nature are the ones being voted and everyone is invited (to vote for the Philippines’ nominees) to participate!

And I am proud to say that as of this writing the all entries from the Philippines are on the Top 10!
