Bought my own copy of The Beatles Rockband game today at DataBlitz Greenhills for Php2,100. There’s this other store where it costs Pph2,900… Php800 is big a difference.

I’m selling my Guitar Hero: World Tour set game. This is the one I bought in Vancouver last October 2008 during our company training.

Why sell? I’ll tell you later.

I just brought it out from the box after months of not playing it. It was only played for a couple of days then na boxed na…

I haven’t finished the game yet. There are still tons of locked songs that I haven’t seen. There a complete list of tracks and I only seen probably less than half of it.

It’s not brand new but it’s in pretty good condition. I’ll be open and honest, the cymbal’s (left) wire was soldered today and is now working properly. Tested it today. The problem with the instrument is that the rubber may not be made to stand the tropical weather of the Philippines… na de-deteriorates sya.. natunaw.

Anyway, i’m selling the complete instrument – drums, guitar and mic – plus the game CD. Take note though that this is for Play Station 3. So, if you have the older ones, it wont work.

Why Am I selling it? The same reason why I sold my RockBand, an upgrade and much better game for me. I sold my Rockband because Guitar Hero World Tour (with cymbals) came out… Now I’m selling it because Beatles Rockband is coming out next month!

BTW, need help moving stuff from one location to another? Why not rent a motorhome towing service… they not only tow, they transfer.

This is my 3rd last weekend here in Vancouver, Canada. We didn’t have any plans for today so we just lock ourselves on our room and do whatever it is that we do inside the room.. in my case, blog, surf and play RockBand on PS3.

I also played a couple of stages on Resistance, the free game that comes with the PS3. But mostly I struck the drums and played a couple of songs. I must admit the game is engaging. It’s like playing a real drum as a matter of fact if you have a real drum set you can use that and play along with the game (of course you have to designate the colors to the actual drums)

Songs that I practice today are Hole’s “Celebrirty Skin” and The Konk’s “29 Fingers”.

Chatted with CK and showed him the game console and the drumset. Told him that we will be playing those when I get back.

I can’t wait! Excited.

First weekend of October. We head out to Sears department store (after getting some moolah in Royal Oak St… Crystal Mall HSBC’s offline).

Ruel was planning to buy toys and other gifts for his children… I was planning to get my sons a few toys of their own.. plus last night, i tried playing ROCKBAND, and got frustrated that I can’t because it’s looking for a microphone so i thought I’ll buy one today… and to my dismay, after I bought it, i found out that I don’t need it, coz what ever module (that is controller) you put it, pwede naman pala.. so i should have put the ROckband drum set in.. edi di na humingi ng mic.. sayang $15. :)

Anyway, I bought my sons little something (PlayDOh set for Matt and first crayons for sean) and my niece her requested pink Barbie doll. Along with the official Rockstar microphone, i also bought a $15 HDMI cable. Also bought my wife her own Canada shirt (vancouver) red one.

What else… of yeah, today I tried playing Rockband’s drumset part.. It was superb! Just want I expect it. Nag paltos pa finger ko since the drum stick was shipped together with the HDTV LG.

Another work week has just ended. I’m sitting here in my homestay room in Burnaby Canady chatting with my wife and looking at my baby sean (webcam).

Jon and I just came back from Futureshop. We bought some cool stuff there and were pretty excited of bringing them home. But I’m sure that I’m more excited than him.

He bought for himself a digital camera and I bought for myself a BlueRay Player!! Well, technically it’s a blue ray player but it’s better!

I bought…. hold you breath boys and girls!!!! Playstation 3!! (or course, i did , see the blog post? :D)

Along with the game console, which comes with one game (Resistance: Fall of Man), I also bought the ROCK BAND Drum set and the ROCK BAND softare game! Will make a separate post for the hardware and the game. In the meantime, here are the pictures of the stuff… pretty excited to bring it home… I’m sure Matt will learn how to play drums now…

Saw some games on Utube and those guys play great! I hope my Matthew (and CK) will learn how to play this game too! :D
