Job Opening: UNIX System Administrators
Required Skills:
Languages: Java (Beginner), UNIX Scripting (Intermediate) – Priority
Tools: WebLogic 8.1+ – Intermediate (PRIORITY), Control-M – Beginner, IIS v5.0+ (only needed for OMS) – Beginner
Database: Oracle
Hardware: Solaris (Unix) – Intermediate, AIX (Unix) – Intermediate, Windows – Beginner
Responsibilities:

- Work standard hours.
- Work online.
- Imagine developer desktop image is required for HW/SW.
To deploy software onto the following platforms:
- WebLogic:
o Run Unix scripts to deploy WebLogic EAR’s, WAR’s, etc.
o Make configuration changes to WebLogic (JMS Queues, JDBC connections, classpaths, etc.)
o Start/stop WebLogic node manager, domains and servers
- Oracle
o Run Unix scripts to load data into Oracle tables
o Run SQL scripts against Oracle
o Run import/export into Oracle
o Use AMDOCS Tiger tool to do imports/exports into OMS/Enabler
- Enabler
o Apply hot fixes in the form of steps that include multiple Unix commands and knowledge of Enabler
o Start/Stop Enabler using Unix scripts
- OMS
o Deploy WebLogic EAR’s
o Start/Stop OMS using Unix scripts
o Start/Stop IIS v5.0+ on Windows
o Apply SQL updates to Oracle DB
- NetCracker
o Make configuration changes to WebLogic (JMS Queues, JDBC connections, classpaths, etc.)
o Run Oracle SQL scripts
o Deploy WebLogic EAR
o Run XML imports through the NetCracker GUI
- Batch
o Control-M configuration changes
o Run AIX script to load Control-M jobs and deploy
