From the previous post I have mentioned that I applied for a Gflex plan 800 with a bundled iPhone 3GS. Since yesterday I have been playing with it, getting myself familiar with interface and installing all sorts of applications from social networking to business and games.

One of the free app that I installed was Wordpress and this is the first post using the iPhone and that wordpress app for iPhone.

Quick post… I’m planning to do a makeover of my Pinoy banda “Pinoy Rock Bands” blog. I started doing this couple of days ago but it was last night that I was able to make a test site where I would, well, test the new ‘dress’. Hope it looks good on it. Another reason is (yeah, I procrastinate) I’m also looking for a great multimedia them for Matt and Sean’s Blog (which is of course, still under tweaking).

More update related to this on the coming posts… (so what, you might say… wala lang.)

An idea, a business idea… a very good business idea just popped out in my mind and I must write it down here now, not later, not tonight, not tomorrow, but now.

“So, what is it?”, you might ask. I am thinking of doing a blogging business! I’m thinking hiring a couple of, young dynamic, internet literate individuals to do the blogging for me. Not only will my blogs have constant, daily updates, I will also be helping those youngster with an extra income (for cellphone loads, or for movies what have you).

Unique. This idea I’m thinking, for me is unique. Yeah, maybe someone already tried it out, heck I even blog for someone else before doing SEO. I said this is unique because I will be giving them blogs about people with interesting personality. The blogger will live their lives! Tama ba? Basta ganon.

I Recommend BackupWordpress Plugin.  This plugin has save this blog (and my other blog) more than once.

BackUpWordPress is a Backup & Recovery Suite for your WordPress website. This Plugin allows you to backup database tables as well as files and comes with a rich set of options.

If you’re like me who regularly updates the money earning blogs, it’s a must that you have the BackUPwordpress plugin.. this is not a paid post, i just thought I mention this one too…

I opened my oldest, most spammy blog tonight and found out that everything was not there! The index of the says “Nothing Found”.. clicked any category, it says “Nothing Found”, clicked a page and still, it says “Nothing Found”!!

So why is that? Was the blogged hacked?! (come on, there’s nothing there!) or was is simple negligence on the part of the webhosting company? A downtime, outage perhaps? This we have to know..

Anyway, I logged to Wordpress’ dashboard and found out that that all the posts and pages was erased…

I am currently figuring out how to restore the blog’s database.. doing it now.. hopefully it gets fixed coz i have late payu2B assignments.. hehehe… (sayang ang memories..) I am feeling tensed again.. the thyroid pills, i need it!… Look at the bright side, at least I wont be needing weight loss pills

UPDATE: I submitted a ticket from my webshoting company where this particular blog is hosted… I got a reply back from them saying they restored the database from most recent backup.

While my wife is out to buy some vitamins for our sons, I’m here in Burnaby registering a new domain on a new webhosting company!

Paypal money is an “easy come, easy go” money… That’s bad money if you ask me.

That was the last part of our last tonight. Ann A. is the Sales Rep for BlueHost (a web hosting solution company).. She’s good.. She’s so good in answering my questions, I think I’ll go ahead and sign up for their service.

The main reason for it? Well, unlimited hosting space and bandwidth is super fine in my yard stick to measure, not to mention that they’ll put your site to a “less crowded” server if traffic got heavy.. plus, it’s 100 Mysql, free domain too and SSH access! Cool!
