Robert Pattinson to Play John Lennon?

Rumors are abound that Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson may sign on to play John Lennon in a Beatles flick.

The Internet is abuzz with a juicy piece of news concerning none other than current It Boy Robert Pattinson.

It was reported that Robert Pattinson, 23, is in talks with director Robert Zemeckis to play the legendary Beatle John Lennon in Disney’s 3-D remake of the classic cartoon Yellow Submarine.

The original 1968 animated feature film, based on the music of The Beatles, has the Beatles characters in the film voiced by other actors, and the real members of the legendary band only appeared in the closing scene of the film.

The new movie is reportedly going to be “set in Pepperland, an undersea paradise protected by Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. When the band are captured by the music-hating Blue Meanies, a soldier is sent to Liverpool to fetch the Fab Four, who hop in the submarine and save the day,” according to AceShowbiz. The movie is written, and will be directed by, Robert Zemeckis. The film is slated for a 2012 release.

However, nothing has been confirmed as of now about Pattinson’s involvement in the film. Gossip Cop tried to reach director Robert Zemeckis’ company for a statement, but received no confirmation.

Stephen King’s Sequel for The Shinning!

The buzz is all over the internet! Good thing I checked my Google Alerts for “Stephen King“! Apparently there are negotiation and they have been working on a possible sequel for Stephen King’s 1977 hit, “The Shinning“!

Here’s the some ‘spoilers’ or initial plan for the sequel..

“Danny is now 40 years old and living in upstate New York, where he works as the equivalent of an orderly at a hospice for the terminally ill. Danny’s real job is to visit with patients who are just about to pass on to the other side, and to help them make that journey with the aid of his mysterious powers. Danny also has a sideline in betting on the horses, a trick he learned from his buddy Dick Hallorann.”

Also the initial title for the sequel is called “Doctor Sleep”.

Here’s what Stephen King supposed to be thinking or that give him the idea of the sequel for The Shinning….

“Seems King was wondering whatever happened to Danny Torrance of The Shining, who when readers last saw him was recovering from his ordeal at the Overlook Hotel at a resort in Maine with fellow survivors Wendy Torrance and chef Dick Halloran (who dies in the Kubrick film version),” the Torontoist reports. “King remarked that though he ended his 1977 novel on a positive note, the Overlook was bound to have left young Danny with a lifetime’s worth of emotional scars. What Danny made of those traumatic experiences, and with the psychic powers that saved him from his father at the Overlook, is a question that King believes might make a damn fine sequel.”

All you Stephen King fans, let’s all wait for further news shall we?

2012 The Movie

Saw this movie today with wife and the boys… The movie is good! Full of excitement from start to end! Nakakasara ng pwet! 9 of 10! Recommended! Plus, it stars John Cussack, that cool dude from Serendipity, Stephen King‘s 1408 and others.. woah! 2012 and 1408.. nice two four-digit movie title! :)

2012 is a 2009 science fiction disaster film based loosely on the 2012 phenomenon and directed by Roland Emmerich. The film has an ensemble cast, including John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson. The film was distributed by Columbia Pictures. Filming began in August 2008 in Vancouver. The film is set in a modern setting and only brushes on Mayanism and the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar.

The effects are awesome! If you’ve ever visited Googel Earth or saw any gps application, you’ll see earth in sky view and imagine it falling in the abyss of the earth’s crust! WOw!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Saw the movie Transformers: Revenge of the fallen today with my wife and the two boys. Yep, sarap manood ng sine pag monday. First, no traffic… second, maluwang ang mall… third, maluwang ang sinehan.. Yep, there was only approx less than 10 people inside the cinema, including us 4.. kaya takbo ng takbo si Matt.

I have the post here sa everything daddy… I marked it as another toddler activities that we can do regularly.. pero magastos yata… Megan Fox is a fox!
