A Letter From Adbrite

by jacaranda on July 27, 2008

I received an email from Adbrite yesterday about my recently added zone. I think I put it up July 24 or something. I forgot I even had an account with Adbrite since the old zones that I found in there was for Everything-Eli blogs and the old Razile.com (my name in reverse) website, yep not even a wordpress blog.

The email goes like this:

Hi Elizar Palad,

The following zones are currently receiving over 1000 pageviews per day and could generate more revenue for you:

EPdotCom_inline

We recommend a few steps you can take to increase your earnings from the traffic to your site.

  • Change ad placement. Reach your visitors wherever you think they’re most engaged on your site. Place your zones on the most-viewed areas of your site, particularly on the areas directly above and to the left of your core content. Ads that users must scroll down to see, or that are far from your core content, may earn significantly less revenue. If you already have your zone on highly-visible areas, you might try some of our other formats such as Full Page Ads or Inline Ads to boost your revenue.
  • Switch from Manual to Auto-Approve ads. If your zone is set to manually approve ads, you can change the setting to auto-approve ads, which is the best way to ensure that your ad zone is consistently filled with the highest paying ads possible. To do so, click here, then click on Edit Ad Zone Preferences > Ad Specs > Yes, auto-approve ads.
  • Full Page Ad settings. If you’ve enabled Full Page Ads on your zone, you can increase your revenue by increasing the number of times your Full Page Ads show. To do so, click here, then click on Edit Ad Zone Preferences > Ad Specs, and adjust the Full Page Ad frequency settings.

I am a little happy about the email coz it made me realized that I really do have enough visitors to try out some other make money programs other than Adsense… Adsense alternative as they say.

I only took the inline feature of Adbrite, just like with Kontera… Now I’m thinking of getting banners and a full page ad too for the pages with most traffic.

What do you think? Go for it? What are other Adsense Alternative you can recommend?

Thanks

That email is the result of a new reminder system we have. Glad you found it helpful!
