Yet Another Procedure to Transfer WordPress Blog to Another Hosts

This is another procedure of transferring a WordPress blog from one hosting company to another. It’s pretty similar to moving wordpress blog from webhosting with CPanel to Dreamhost dashboard.

Anyway, here’s the list.. please note though, that this is my list and my reference, I’m sorry for those who stumble to this blog looking of ways or procedure to transfer their wordpress blog from one webhost to another.. This is only my rough list to remind of the the way I did it.

A few gotchas..

Last month, first week of July or something, I signed up for an account on Brad Callen’s SEOLinkvine just to see how the system works and to test if what they say in the sales page is true.

My ‘500 backlinks in a week‘ post (and this is for just 1 keyword) was the start of the testing and now, I am happy to show you some of the stats or graph of the 1 month test drive of SEOLinkvine.

For those who still don’t know what SEOLinkvine is, well it’s Brad Callen’s verison of Article Marketing Automation or the Unique Article Wizard services.

I’ll update this post soon, tinatamad eh.. just want to post 3 of my keyword that is loaded up in SEOLinkvine which are getting constant stream of backlink, hence the keywords keep on ranking on the search engine.. without me begging for links to other webmasters or submitting to social bookmarks or directories or wherever…

As you can see, i joined SEOlinkvine around July 5 and on one keyword, I didn’t even rank until July 15 but today it’s currently in number 40 on Google (not yet on Yahoo and Bing.. notice the color coding)

Anyway, it as clear as the crystal spring water that the backlinking service that SEOLinkvine offers really do work!

Try SEOLinkvine today for 30 days! If you don’t see results by then, you can always ask for a full refund *wink*

Google Image Ripper

Ok, here’s a nifty little web application/service I found a few minutes ago. Back story.. after days and days of putting this behind, I decided to make a test video using Animoto. It uses a set of video or images (in my case, i used images from Google SERP) and makes a cool looking slide show.

The original plan was for me to collect all my images, save it to a folder and use animoto. Making the video was easy and fast, no more than 10 minutes and it’s done. What was tedious was getting the images downloaded from Google Images… of course I didn’t do it and that’s what I am going to share with you now:

I did a search for downloading all images from Google image serp, or something.. Then i saw this site listing 3 tools.. I didn’t see the other 2 because I was quite satisfied with the first one. I could have searched for to google image ripper instead and it would bring me to the same webpage as in rip google video and other related searches like google maps ripper, google image labeler, google video, google image search.

Anyway, like I said the tool/website titled “Google Image Ripper ” is at http://dearcomputer.nl/ <— cool cool site!

Instead of you search for the image on Google images, click the thumbnail in the SERP, then clicking the thumbnail again for the full size, http://dearcomputer.nl/ makes you only search one time, then it presents you these tons of full size images ready to be ‘right clicked’ and ‘save as’!

And you’re done! you have your images ready to be feed up in Animoto!

I recommend this!

Cube 8 Video Downloads?

What is Cube 8? Wikianswers says “WikiAnswers – What is the cube of 8″… Asiaone.com has an article about it called “CDL poised to preview Cube 8 at average $1250 psf” but that’s not what people are looking for.

People are actually looking for the video or video download of Cube 8, but if in any case you happen to look for the building type and not the video, “Cube 8 Condo @ Thomson Road” is the 3rd one you’ll find from newcondosg.com (which also gave me an idea for another classified ads website).

Cube 8 Videos from Youtube

There is always a search result coming from Yutube and here is what the website shows about Cube8 Video:

6 year old solves Rubik’s cube blindfolded 8:30.81

Looking For Phillipino Girls?

Philipino, Phillipino or Philippino? Whatever.. Are you looking for Philippino girls?

It all started with “Pinakbet”. A blogger of mine posted the recipe on how to cook pinakbet and tried fixing the title with a few more words… that’s then the word appeared – Philippino.

I did a quick search and noticed too that many people, non-Filipino syempre, use the word incorrectly. Filipino is what they want to search but since they know the spelling of Philippines, they most of the times spelled out “Phillipino” instead. (Enough excuses, mali pa rin eh, bat double “L”?).

Because the spelling of Philippines begins with a “ph”, it is easily assumed that the term for a citizen must also be spelled with a “ph”. This is just like referring to someone from Portugal as Portuguese or from France as French, or Koreans for Korea or Chinese from China.. you get the picture.

So, here comes the cool trivia of why we are called Filipino/Pilipino when the Philippines is spelled with a “PH”. If you do a little history research, the answer has to do with the old name for Philippines. When the country was first colonized by Spain, they give the archipelago the name “Las Islas Filipinas” and its inhabitants “Filipinos”. When it was American’s turn to colonize the country, it was renamed “Philippines”. However, the term “Filipino” stuck….

Credits and stuff from here on forth is from: http://www.arkhilario.com/2009/08/01/philipino-phillipino-philippino/

Filipino also refers to the official language of the Philippines which is based on the Tagalog dialect.

As of the June 2009 national statistics, there are 92 million Filipinos living in the Philippines and about 11 million living outside of which 3 million are in the United States, with Saudi Arabia coming second with 1 million.

Filipinos usually refer to themselves informally as Pinoy or Pinay (feminine). A Filipino is also derogatorily called as a Flip. It has a negative connotation because flip is used to mean “crazy”.

Filipino is popularized in the song “Bebot” by Black Eyed Peas from the album “Monkey Business”. Member apl.de.ap (Allan Pineda Lindo in real life) who sang the song is a Filipino. Here’s the music video:
